about the course work
The Ole Miss Professional MBA program consists of a two-year curriculum designed for part-time students. Even if you have a full-time job, the Professional MBA is flexible enough to fit your schedule.

The curriculum focuses on developing the analytical skills and breadth of judgment that are essential elements in effective decision making for any organization. A thorough understanding of the functional areas of business is built from the required courses.

The program begins in January each year, with initial courses focusing on essential skills in statistics and mobilizing technology. Students move through the summer of Year 1 developing advanced capabilities in managerial communication and managerial economics. In August, students begin courses in operations management and financial analysis. At the beginning of Year 2, courses emphasize global business and organizational behavior. Summer brings courses in contemporary business analysis, business planning and entrepreneurship. Finally, beginning in August of the second year, students complete their last requirements —concept integration and project analysis.

tuition

Tuition for the 36 semester hour program is $296 per semester hour for MISSISSIPPI residents and $668 per semester hour for NON-RESIDENTS. There is also a $10 per semester hour technology fee.

content delivery
The Professional MBA employs alternate methods of delivering course content, including Internet learning systems, telephone conference calls, video conferencing and interactive CD-ROM/DVD technology. A limited number of on-campus, in-person gatherings is required. Some courses are team taught, and most are cross-functional and highly
integrated.
