When you come to campus, the School of Business Administration complex, consisting of both Holman Hall, completed in the summer of 1998, and the recently renovated Conner Hall are both available for your use.

Holman and Conner halls define a new level of business education by promoting efficient learning and personal interaction. They incorporate the most advanced instructional technology available including multimedia presentation facilities, distance-learning classrooms, videoconferencing capabilities, and computer classrooms and labs. Other campus facilities, such as the recently expanded library, offer students the best in learning environments.

The Holman-Conner complex contains more than 2,000 network connections, allowing students to attach to the LAN from anywhere in the building to communicate with faculty members and classmates, access online resources, and receive or submit assignments. The entire complex also is networked with wireless Internet connections allowing students to access the network from anywhere in the building.

Established in 1848, The University of Mississippi is a comprehensive research institution encompassing four campuses: Oxford, Southaven, Tupelo and the Medical Center in Jackson. The main campus in Oxford is a canvas of natural beauty and Greek revival architecture coupled with the latest in learning technology. The University of Mississippi is located about 75 miles southeast of Memphis, Tennessee. It is easily accessed from Interstate 55 and is less than a six-hour drive from Atlanta, New Orleans and Nashville.

Ole Miss ranks in the top 10 U.S. public universities in the nation graduating Rhodes Scholars (24). Since 1998, Ole Miss has produced four Truman Scholars, five Goldwater Scholars, a Marshall Scholar and four Fulbright Scholars. For its sustained success in producing Truman scholars, UM was named one of three 2004 Truman Foundation Honor Institutions in the nation.

In a recent national competition, a team of Ole Miss MBA students bested 22 teams from the nation’s premier business schools, including those at Carnegie Mellon, Yale, Columbia and University of Pennsylvania (Wharton School).

Each year, the School of Business Administration benefits greatly from the loyalty and generosity of the Business Alumni Chapter and the Business Advisory Board. Both groups serve the school and its students by providing personal referrals and contacts, and opportunities for class projects. The MBA Alumni Council actively assists students in obtaining interviews with companies throughout the region and nation.
