Basic Degree Requirements
The following basic degree requirements are common to all business majors:
At least 25% of all credit hours applied to the degree must be completed at The University of Mississippi (not transferred from another institution).

At least 15 of the last 21 applied credit hours must be completed at The University of Mississippi.

At least 50% of all courses applied to your major must be completed at The University of Mississippi.

At least 50% of all business and accountancy courses that are applied to your degree must be completed at The University of Mississippi.

At least 30 credit hours of business and accountancy courses that are applied to your degree must be at the 300 level or above.

If you took courses for college credit at any other institution or institutions, you must have a 2.0 grade point average (GPA) on that group of courses whether or not any courses are transferred for University of Mississippi degree credit.

At least a 2.0 GPA must be earned across all courses taken at The University of Mississippi.
