The Ole Miss School of Business Administration is dedicated to enhancing our relationships with businesses and business leaders to build mutually beneficial initiatives that help the School of Business Administration and its students interact with business. School of Business Administration Career Fairs:  Each year we host one career fair for business school students in addition to all campus wide fairs.  These are private fairs where employers have the opportunity to meet with undergraduate and MBA students to discuss internship and job opportunities.  If you are interested in learning more, please contact Bethany Cooper bcooper@bus.olemiss.edu

School of Business Administration Career Workshops:   In both the fall and the spring, we invite employers and alumni to campus for career workshops with the students.  Your professional experience and advice are critical to their success.  If you are interested in learning more, please contact Bethany Cooper bcooper@bus.olemiss.edu

School of Business Administration Job or Internship Postings:  Employers interested in recruiting students for internships or jobs may email us a copy of a job/internship description or fill out our online form:  http://olemissbusiness.com/career/jobPosting.html.  We will market opportunities to the students and share the opening with the university career center.

MBA Distinguished Speaker Series:  Each year we invite business leaders to campus to speak to our MBA students about business trends in industry and to share leadership and career advice.  Our Distinguished Speaker Series takes place every Thursday from 4:30-5:30 PM.  If you are interested in learning more, please contact Bethany Cooper bcooper@bus.olemiss.edu

The MBA Speaker’s Edge Competition is a transformative public speaking competition for Ole Miss MBA students. The MBA students spend a week and a half working with world-class communication coaches learning the skills of high-impact public speaking. The program culminates in a very exciting, two-day competition, where students present three different presentations in front of a panel of judges, comprised of industry business leaders.  If you are interested in judging in January you may sign-up online at: http://olemissbusiness.com/mba/campusmba/speakersedge.html

School of Business Administration MBA Mentors:  We match each incoming MBA student with a professional mentor in industry.  The mentors meet with the students live, electronically or via phone once per month.  If interested in participating for the 2010-2011 academic year, you may apply at: http://olemissbusiness.com/mba/campusMBA/mentor/alumni.html
