Dr. Cesar Rego
Professor of Production Operations Management
Bio:
Cesar Rego is Professor of Productions Operations Management at the School of Business of the University of Mississippi. He received a degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from the Portucalense University in Portugal, a Master of Sciences (M.Sc.) in Operations Research and Systems Engineering from the Graduate School of Technology (IST) of the University of Lisbon, and a Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from the University of Versailles, France.
Dr Rego's publications have appeared in books and in leading journals on optimization such as the European Journal of Operational Research (EJOR), the Journal of the Operational Research Society (JORS), Parallel Computing, Journal of Applied Mathematics and Decision Sciences, Computers & Operations Research, Annals of Operations Research, OR Spectrum, IEEE (various journals), and Management Science. Dr. Rego has organized and chaired numerous sessions and clusters in international conferences and has served as invited speaker in a number of tutorials and plenary sessions. He has edited several books and serves as Associate Editor for a number of journals in the field of optimization and decision sciences.
