The John N. Palmer MBA Assistantships Program
The John N. Palmer Assistantship Program provides financial aid and practical experience to full-time, on-campus MBA students whom have excelled in their undergraduate programs and who possess the academic and leadership skills to become successful business executives and entrepreneurs. Assistantships are issued to a limited number of students for the Fall and Spring semesters of their MBA program year. Assistantship recipients are assigned to one or two professors for a total of 10 hours per week to assist with administrative or research activities. John N. Palmer assistantships provide a stipend of $1800 per semester and include a partial waiver of tuitions and fees.
Honors Fellowships
Honors Fellowships of $2,000 per academic years are awarded to a small number of incoming students of exceptional academic accomplishment. Recipients of graduate fellowships are also eligible to receive departmental assistantships and/or other fellowships. More information is available from the Graduate School.
Underrepresented Minority Fellowship Program
The Graduate School administers a fellowship program available to persons who are members of minority groups that have historically been underrepresented in various graduate education programs. The stipend associated with this fellowship is $1,000 per semester (fall and spring) and includes a 75 percent tuition scholarship and a 44 percent non-resident scholarship. To receive the fellowship a student must be admitted into a degree program, must be enrolled on the Oxford campus for at least nine hours of graduate work each semester, must be nominated by the academic department, and must not be a full-time employee. The tuition scholarship and nonresident fee scholarship are also available to students who are enrolled for less than 9 hours.
