The University of Mississippi’s School of Business Administration prepares students for many different careers, including owning their own business. Many people in the community have not received the formal training available to School of Business Administration students, but still dream of having their own business. To make these dreams come true, The University of Mississippi has partnered with the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to provide the members of the Mississippi business community with help in running their small businesses.
The Center offers seminars on many topics, including the start-up process as well as many common problems associated with existing businesses. The SBDC has professionals on staff to help critique business plans or answer any questions you may have. Whether you are starting your own business, or simply want to improve an existing business, the Small Business Development Center is the place to visit.
