Reserve A Room For A Meeting?

Get A Key (If Needed) For A Meeting Room?

Ms. Sue Cabunac in Holman 252 can assist you (to ensure you are able to get a key, you are encouraged to sign it out the day before the meeting. The office is open 8 AM–5 PM.

 

 

Have A Meeting/Event Announcement Displayed On The Plasma Screen?

E-mail the very brief text to Kathy Mikell at kmikell@bus.olemiss.edu at least 3 days before the meeting, if not sooner. The staff of the Business School reserves the right to edit the information as needed.

 

 

Reserve A Display Area, Table, Easel, Etc., For A Membership Drive, T-Shirt Sale?

Ms. Lila Neely, Holman 320 or at lneely@bus.olemiss.edu (contact Ms. Neely well in advance (minimum one week) to ensure the items will be available for you.

 

 

Retrieve Organization Supplies If They Are Stored Somewhere Other Than With Your Faculty Advisor?

Ms. Lila Neely, Holman 320 or at lneely@bus.olemiss.edu (contact Ms. Neely SEVERAL DAYS BEFORE you need the items to ensure you can have them when you want them.) It’s preferred to have the faculty advisor store the supplies.

In Addition To The Above, It Is The Responsibility Of The Student Organization Advisor/Members To:

•ensure meeting flyers are posted on BULLETIN BOARDS only; announcements found posted on any other surface (doors, windows, walls, etc.) will be removed;
•have posted flyers removed from the bulletin boards after the meeting/function;
•return any items borrowed to their locations (room key, easel, table, etc.);
•refrain from removing chairs from the classrooms and the study rooms; and
•leave the meeting room the way it was found and be sure the door is locked when you leave.
